A formal letter of instruction outlining the specific questions to be addressed, all relevant clinical notes (GP records, specialist reports, allied health reports), and all radiological imaging (X-rays, CTs, MRIs). Imaging must be provided either on disc or via a secure online link prior to the appointment. Written reports alone are insufficient for a neurosurgical assessment.

Standard medicolegal reports are typically dispatched within 10 to 14 business days following the consultation, provided all requested documentation and imaging have been supplied. Complex cases or those requiring supplementary information may take longer.

Yes, Dr Aliashkevich is available to provide expert testimony in court or at tribunal hearings. We require substantial notice (ideally minimum 4 weeks) to secure court dates due to his surgical schedule. Specific fee structures apply for court appearances and preparation time.

Telehealth assessments can be arranged for certain file reviews or specific follow-up questions, but standard initial Independent Medical Examinations and impairment assessments (which require a physical neurological examination) must be conducted in person.

We require a minimum of 5 business days' notice for the cancellation or rescheduling of a medicolegal appointment. Cancellations made within this timeframe will incur a cancellation fee as per our standard medicolegal terms of engagement.
