Telehealth consultations
Providing secure, high-definition video consultations for patients across Melbourne, regional Victoria, and interstate. Access expert neurosurgical care from the comfort and safety of your home.
Is telehealth right for you?
While some neurological and spinal conditions require a comprehensive physical examination in our Melbourne rooms, many initial reviews and follow-up consultations can be completed effectively via video.
Telehealth is particularly beneficial for patients with limited mobility, severe pain during travel, or those living in regional Victoria.
Initial Assessments
Reviewing recent MRI or CT scans and clinical history prior to surgery planning, provided an in-person physical assessment has been arranged or is not urgently required.
Post-Operative Follow-Up
Routine wound checks, symptom monitoring, and recovery reviews once the surgical wounds are healed and the patient is stable.
Review Consultations
Discussing pathology reports, imaging updates, or stable long-term condition monitoring.
Regional & Interstate Patients
Initial reviews for patients living in regional Victoria or interstate to determine if travel to Melbourne for surgery or in-person assessment is necessary.
